What do you want to know? For starters, I’m trying WAY too hard to look cool in this awkward self-portrait below. Maybe someday I’ll get somebody else to take a picture of me and I won’t look so pained.
For the last 34 years, I’ve spent the majority of that time trying to convince people I’m not actually 14 years old. Despite my adolescent appearances, I’ve got a load of neat experiences in my Briefcase of Life that I think make me more fun to work with than I often readily admit.
Only recently have I discovered that my natural eye for composition might lend itself to taking a task I’d always just considered “fun” — taking photos of absolutely everything — and turning it into a career.
I’ve spent the last five years engaging students and marketing the second-largest community college in Kansas, but I’ve also managed movie theatres, pounded the streets as an intrepid journalist, made delicious Whopper® sandwiches and sold women’s clothing and perfume. But if you really want to know more about that stuff, you should visit my resume.
As for me, I’m irreverent to a fault, I value candid (but not deliberately unpleasant) interactions with people, fail miserably at Small Talk and love to make written words do magical things. Why should I take your photos? Because you’ve made it this far. Let’s be honest, that’s more effort than a lot of folks exert to get dinner. Give me a call and we can talk about your photography or design needs and whether we’d made a good fit together in the universe’s massively confusing puzzle of destiny.
